In my creams, I do not simply rely on distilled water.
I choose hydrosols, also known as plant waters, because of their exceptional benefits for the skin.  

What exactly are hydrolates?

Hydrolates are the result of the steam distillation of plants, which not only extracts essential oils, but also these precious, water-like liquids that are rich in beneficial properties for the skin.
They have soothing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties and ensure an optimal moisture balance. The advantages of hydrolates:

• They have a similar pH value to our skin, which reduces the need for pH adjustment in creams.
• They are rich in antioxidants and contain a minimum of the essential oil from which they are extracted, which can serve as natural preservatives.
• Hydrolates are milder than essential oils, perfect for sensitive skin.

  With a careful selection of hydrosols, such as rose, elderflower, peppermint and cistus hydrosol, I ensure that every skin type and every need finds the right care.
